A graduate of Central Saint Martins in Fashion Knitwear, she went on to establish her own conceptual accessory brand LAB PIMLIN in Shanghai. She also holds a mater degrees in Fashion Merchandising from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Drawing inspiration from personal memories, childhood, and her connection to her homeland, Yue creates stories through a delicate and vivid female perspective. Yue has a deep love for and mastery of traditional handcraft, which forms the foundation of much of her work. However, she constantly pushes the boundaries of her creativity, experimenting with cutting-edge techniques such as NFTs, AIGC, and 3D printing to create diverse and innovative pieces. Her work blends tactile craftsmanship with technological advancements. Yue is fascinated by the way materials interact with the wearer, especially in wearable art, where the language of figures comes to life. With a joyful, bright, and innocent tone, she uses these materials to convey emotional stories.
Her creations have also been worn by prominent figures such as Grammy-nominated band EarthGang, supermodel Ju Xiaowen, singer Danny Lee, and actress Zheng Xiyi, among others. Her work has been featured in well-known international and domestic magazines, including Vogue, GQ, ELLE, and Notion Magazine.
In addition to her artistic endeavors, Yue maintains ongoing collaborations with leading brands such as Nike and Asics, where she has designed and led numerous creative workshops.
