LAB PIMLIN is an ongoing accessory experiment by Jojo Yue Zhou. She aims to re-define the concept of wearable space through innovative materials while integrating various technologies, such as NFTs, to create wearable products for the virtual world.

Each of Yue’s creations is like adding another brick to her virtual world. She excels at blending tradition with technology, transforming her ideas into reality through methods such as weaving, 3D printing, and digital art. As technology continues to advance, she constantly seeks new ways to expand the possibilities for her creative vision.

The first collaborative series of LAB PIMLIN is called Galaxy Lily. It is inspired by Kenji Miyazawa’s Night on the Galactic Railroad. In this work, the brilliance of the galaxy exists as a dream, while reality is filled with sorrow and loneliness. However, in Yue’s imagination, this galactic dream is given new life—ever-blooming lilies, freely spinning celestial bodies, with every element shining brightly in the virtual universe. These unique 3D accessories, presented through modern technology, break the traditional definition of accessories, transforming designs from the virtual world into wearable art. Using 3D printing technology, Yue fuses traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge tech, reimagining the possibilities of accessories and turning them into an immersive, futuristic art experience.

LAB PIMLIN’s virtual accessory series is an extension of its physical accessory designs. Its NFT products were released on the popular Chinese social media platform Xiaohongshu and sold out in a very short time.
