Yue conceived a unique creative narrative by imagining a story where a group of astronauts escape Earth. On the alien spacecraft, each crew member faces a specific danger, and Yue has tailored protective suits for them. These suits not only serve a functional purpose but also cleverly integrate the dynamic characteristics of knitting, offering the wearer an immersive, exploratory experience. Many of the design details are inspired by Yue’s hometown, Yiwu, a globally recognized hub for commodities, known for its diverse and inventive products, such as windproof clothing designed for motorcyclists, full-body sun protection facekinis, and ingeniously designed armored storage boxes. Yue skillfully incorporated the distinctive features of these locally- inspired items into each protective suit, imbuing the designs with a rich sense of local culture combined with modern technological elements.

The design of these protective suits transcends the traditional concept of clothing; they are not merely tools to wear but multi-dimensional sensory experiences. By exploring the elasticity and structural characteristics of knitting, the wearer can experience the unique appeal of the fabric itself, while also sensing the limitless potential of garment design in space.
